"...well-produced, expertly executed...All those traits are represented in equal measures on The Surfactants...a very smart, successful experiment in computer-driven genre mashing." -Chris Godsey/MNArtists
"These guys mix electronics with standard rock sounds, which ends up sounding pretty good." -Rift Magazine
"If the songs on the band's MySpace site are any indication of what's to come, Duluth is a few months away from being kicked in the teeth." ...and the heroine screams help!

Bio
The four members of The Surfactants are all veterans of the Minnesota music and art scene. With over 40 years of combined experience (in the bands The Virgin Marcus, The State Champs, Both, Puddle Wonderful, and more, as well as years of professional radio broadcasting and studio recording), The Surfactants have joined to punch Minnesota in the nuts with a crippling array of sonic weaponry, not to mention space age technology. Bringing together their mutual experience with recording and computer networking, The Surfactants had most of their first album recorded and mixed even before any of them met for their first live practice. Well oiled doesn’t even come close to describing their approach.
