Homegrown 10 has come and gone (for us, at least.) The show was great, as was the turn-out. Thanks to everyone at Luce and all of the Homegrown staff for putting together a great night!

The Surfactants will be playing as part of the Toys for Tots show at RT Qunilan's in Duluth, MN on December 15th. Jealous Jester from Minneapolis will also be playing, as well as others still TBA. We'll pass along any new info as soon as we get it, but hopefully this is enough to get you excited in advance.

The show is being put together by LocalM. $5 or bring an awesome new toy. We recommend Star Wars figures or a good hand-held game.

I just wanted to point everyone over to my rather lengthy review of the Polysics show on Monday in Milwaukee. Marcus and I (and Steph and Dave) were at the show, and it was awesome. I was even able to get all four of my Polysic sMister Monster figures signed by every in the band! It was very exciting (for me at least) to meet everyone and shake hands with my idols.

Two New Songs Available For Download!

Here they are, two brand new songs from our second untitled album! You can get "You Can Say No" and "The One, The Wayward" right now from the upper right side of the page. Download them, listen to them, then send your friends on over to do the same.

We will be adding more songs from time to time, probably after we get the physical product out on the street.

Both of these songs are a bit different than what you might expect, and we'd love to hear what you think of them in the comments.

New Site, New Album

Hey there, and welcome to the new Surf site! Yeah, we finally joined the 21st century and moved on to web 2.0. Or something. All I know is that this is going to be a lot easier from now on, which means much more up-to-the-second news and updates. Just in time too, 'cause we're planning on hitting the streets pretty hard pretty soon. The best news is that you can now add that link on the very bottom of the page to your RSS reader and really stay up to date with the band.

Our main goal with this new site is to keep all of the fans collected into one space. With everyone posting everywhere it can get a little tough to track everyone and keep in touch as much as we'd like. Hopefully we'll get you all here together. We'll be posting new music and imagery here first, so, like I said, learn a bit about something like Bloglines and stay in the loop.

Well, what better way to kick off the new age with a look at the cover for the new album! Here it is:
